Clint if I had 3 grand I'd talk to ya about it, but as it is anything more than gas money is outta my league these days!

I think everybody that was at the Dragon would be interested in your car - VERY nice - but I don't know who could swing the bucks.

Don't worry guys, it's only for sale here. In a few weeks I might put it up on USMB.

Do I detect a compromise? A pristine Black XT6 for the "Monster Wedge"? I guess the Alcyone Museum can't hold but just so many cars. I've never seen Manny's car in person, but WHOA NELLY it looks good in pics!
If I had the means I'd have it in a skinny minute!
Unfortunately I'm in a similar boat to Austin... 5star dreams on a sleepin in the car budget.
Nought but by the grace of God

I have seen it in person, rode in it...ever DRIVEN it 8)

And I can say that $1200 for it is the best deal I've seen on a XT Turbo of it's condition, and mods.

I myself am not a fan of the EA82T and prefer a 6 cylinder XT, BUT if I were to have a 4 cylinder XT, Manny's is one I wouldn't mind having :D

On a drag strip....FrankenWedge...hands down...

On a curvy road....Manny's car might have the edge

How come huck? Doesn't it just have the xt6 coil swap? When your monster has kyb's and coilovers right?

Yeah, but it also has a bunch of extra weight in front of the front axles...which make it push badly in the corners....It handled much better with the ER27 in it....I still haven't really done anything to make it handle better with the EG33 yet....but hope to eventually

In all honesty, it would be in the car's best interest if I didn't get it.

I'm waaaaay in over my head as it is. I JUST worked on my 79 for the first time this past weekend (dropped the transmission), after owning it for nearly 8 months.

I'm honestly trying to figure out how I'm going to get the money to get everything I want done to my XT in time for the Dragon, and I've already factored my tax return into that figure :(

Not to mention I've had issues with my Legacy (just had to put its 3rd starter in it), and I'm honestly getting tired of spending more money on that car. It is my daily, I need it, and it's ultimately my baby, but it's been very expensive to keep and it's not over yet.

Oh, and I still have that EJ18 sitting there on the tire in the garage, waiting to get built for 300hp...

If I got the monster wedge, it wouldn't get touched this year, for sure. It's better off with someone who has the resources for it.

Manny's turbo is quick, but in pure acceleration I'd say Hucks would win flat out - no question. Now as for handling, you're talking to the wrong guy here for that one.
