Lies! Have you seen the 4c? Also cool. Plus even their lame cars are awesome compared to the thing we have here.

Least it's not a French car. I do fancy the DS....

No the ds is known for its hydraulic suspension that would allow you to drive on 3 wheels should you get a flat.

Have you seen the YouTube video of the advert, it's hilarious. Or maybe I saw it on wheeler dealers, hell I don't remember it's been too long

I love it, Phil! I agree you're definitely a masochist but at the same time I love the fact that you're keeping an old Italian car on the road. Too many cars today look like they came out of the same basic mold, shaped like an Advil and lacking any imagination.

I've always thought if I ever win lotto, in addition to the obvious XT stable I'd have, I'd find time to get a couple of Volvo P1800s (not the wagon). One to restore and one to mod.

Nothing wrong with keeping an old Alfa, Citroen, or anything else unique on the road. But I wouldn't want to take it on without your skills/tools.

Respect Man....
Reminds me of my days with My 2 Fiat X1/9's (i had them at different times)
Always an issue with something... I spent more time hangin around the Garage where I bought my second one than I did Driving it... But when everything was working.... OH WHAT A CAR!
Nice summer day... The Targa roof in the front boot... Head sticking out the top by about 6"
I'm 6'5"... I only fit in the car if the roof was off... otherwise I'd have to tilt my head sideways...lol I Loved that car to DEATH... I'd probably still be driving it today if I hadn't moved to Australia... it was a 1981, 1500cc 5spd, Black... Tan interior...
I had that thing at the shop prolly 10 times for brake issues... I replaced every component... one by one.. till the Whole system had been done.... until it finally felt right.
I had to order a suede covered Momo steering wheel direct from Italy so that i could steer it...
With the roof on, my legs were so tight against the steering wheel I couldn't steer it...
it was D-Shaped with the flat bottom... I loved that Wheel almost as much as I Loved that car.

Italian cars of the 70's and 80's are a commitment... they need LOTS of love and TLC...
But there are rewards..... I miss that car more than any other I've ever had... More than some family and friends...lol........... *sigh*

My first Wedge!
This wasn't mine..... but what a car
You can see many similarities with the XT
