Changing Jobs (again)

Postby crazyhorse_001 on Sun May 15, 2011 10:19 pm

For the last 2 years I've been working at Jones Fiber Products. They are a great small company. Unfortunately, they work 12hr shifts 60-72hrs a week. This leaves like NO time for anything resembling a life. I put in my notice friday.

I start at Lear inc in about 2wks (pending results of a hair sample drug screen) Its 48 hours a week, and lots more pay. Hopefully enough to get head gaskets put on the SVX :)

Thanks for the kind wishes.

I guess 2wks notice isnt in the cards. LOL I start monday morning!?

48hrs is gonna be a vacation after a 60hr minimum week.

Lear makes seat frames for the premium automakers. I've never worked where steel is the raw material, so I have yet another industry to learn. Thats ok though, I love a challenge.

2wks into my new job, and I think I'm gonna love this place. There are like 150 robots in there. I've been assigned to the robotic weld cells, so you could say I'm a robotics tech HEHEHE
