i'm doing great, trying to tame the schedule so i can enjoy this gift called life. my 2 year old is blowing me away, i love it. my running joke with friends/family is which of our current fleet of Subaru's will be hers when she turns 16? LOL.

I'm in military training becoming an officer since february this year and although I'm having a great time here, spare/free time is limited leaving my project cars in need of attention..
Hope next year when I'm finished here and I can start my 'job', there will be less field services and exams and thus more free times during weekdays and weekends...

Everyone sounds like they're doing fine. Great to hear.

I myself scored a salaried job with benefits and junk with a law firm in downtown Denver. It's a pretty sweet gig doing tech support and what not for them. I'll be starting on Dec 31st.

I have been going through a rough patch with family and stuff, so this job is a nice upper.

awesome, good gig. maybe you can give us some insight on how lawyers actually live with themselves when they know they're helping some sick people! LOL. just kidding, i'm very good friends with some lawyers. one is going to trial this week, something they try to avoid.

glad all is well and good luck with the family bumps, those are important times to work through, but painfully difficult sometimes.

so the 10 million dollar question, what are you driving....or riding....to work!?

It will be different working with lawyers. Can't say I ever envisioned working for a law firm. An old colleague of mine saw on facebook I was looking for a job and sent my resume up to his boss. I would never have gotten an interview without his referral.

As far as my vehicle, this is my primary conveyance:

After my first paycheck, I may end up buying an older Subaru or something else to tool around town on.

I'd love another XT6, though I need something a little more utilitarian.

I'm actually looking for an EA82 5spd 4WD wagon.

I've been around... No SVX for me. I need something that won't suck every penny from me.

Actually, my current SVX has been super reliable, any work I've done to it has been because I wanted too, not because it needed it (well, since I fixed it, as it was wrecked when i got it)...but yeah, an Impreza or Legacy would be a better reliability bet...

So, I thought I'd share some info from the other side of the world.
Estonia got hit with snow. In fact, I think we should be renamed Snowstonia, and marked with a white splat on the maps  . It is incredible, in 2 weeks we got snow up to our elbows in the capital city, which is crazy. I have never seen this much snow in my entire life. There is no parking places, the roads have turned from 3 laned to one-way, it's crazy here right now. And, the biggest problem of all is the snow falling down from the roofs of the buildings. That's what happened to my little Citroen. It got its roof, front glass and hood totally trashed. Good thing I have insurance that will fix it. Although we were kinda hoping they'd just give us the money for the car and write it off since it has had a pretty miserable history during its short life.

You can see some pics of what's going on in the capital (imagine what it's like in other cities) in the article over here: http://www.delfi.ee/news/paevauudised/eesti/fotod-tallinna-sudalinnas-valitseb-meeletu-lumeuputus.d?id=36584583
Have you ever noticed, that everyone driving slower than you are morons, and everyone driving faster than you are maniacs. Fortunately there are very few people driving faster than me.....
