Frankenwedge

Postby rpholz on Tue Apr 08, 2014 8:39 pm

I've got to be all responsible and stuff...

89 xt6 known as Frankenwedge
Eg33 impreza trans, etc.

Since I've got it I've replaced the front wheel bearings, seals, disc, calipers, pads, ball joints

6 puck clutch and WRX flywheel
Wiring has been gone through and running excellent
Radiator fan replaced with mishimoto as large as you can fit
Autometer temp gauge added
Front speakers replaced with kickers
Jenson head unit
Apexi grounding block added
Meagan coilovers for a 08 WRX
Exhaust changed to 2.25 to 2.5 with a borla muffler
NGK platinum spark plugs
#5 coil pack swapped
De-tinted front windows(started to peal)
Extra-S fluid in the trans
Resolderd MAF
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Fuel filter
Rewired P/S to come on every time instead of hit or miss
Removed factory ECU
Fixed battery drain
Re grounded rear speakers

Some other misc stuff

Not much rust, can provide pics

Included with sale:
Almost a full can of cybrid p/s fluid
Like new p/s brushes
Extra set of mud flaps
Can aquire rust free fenders(they are in Florida)
Assortment of floor mats
Tired GR2s with coil sleeves
Stock front knuckles/hub/brakes/etc
Other stuff I am forgetting.

The trans has started making a noise, likely bearing as it works fine
Have a replacement trans ready to go and can swap out for you
Located in Charlotte NC, can travel

UPDATE, not convinced it's a trans issue. Most likely speedometer cable.

Does "not much rust" mean no holes big enough to stick yer fist thru or what?

Does "assortment of floor mats" mean you got 4 different mats in the car or do they all match?

Lol,

You could prrrrrobably get an index finger through a couple spots if you REAAAAALLY tries but I wouldn't recommend it.

Floor mats: 1set grey carpet, 1 set all weather, 1 set all weather that say. SUBARU

Can't have my 2.5rs mats tho!
